Kids Start Businesses, Too!
Kids get bored during their breaks from school, especially during the summer months. This book introduces a fun business activity for kids to try at home with their families and friends whenever they get bored during breaks from school. After reading the story, answering the discussion questions and completing the kid-friendly business plan, kids will be empowered to beat school break boredom by starting their own businesses!
About the Author
Hali A. Chambers is a business psychologist and co-owner of Osborne Enterprises, Inc., a management consulting firm in the Ensley community of Birmingham, Alabama. She helped develop Vendor Boot Camp©, a training program for small business owners, and also facilitates a summer workshops series, called Little Bosses, for kids who are interested in starting their own businesses. A portion of the book proceeds are donated to Better Business Better Communities Research, Inc., to help cover program expenses and fees.
